inspiring music
For years I have created much of my visual artwork while listening to Florida-based original music artist Dave Eichenberger. His ambient recordings have provided the perfect atmosphere to free up my own creative energy, allowing me to move with the muse. No chattiness, no demand for attention, but rather music that makes you feel weightless and untethered.
Obviously, in a modern landscape this provides benefits beyond creative channeling. Meditation, massage, yoga, focus, anxiety and stress reduction. How many ways can our lives be improved by paring away the chaos and shifting our mindset?
I believe music can be a game-changer, affecting how we live our lives…or at least how we feel about our lives. I am enriched when a artist can take me into that space. Dave Eichenberger has done that consistently, it’s one of the many reasons we’ve worked together for so many years. And I can tell you, that “thing” is rare. I hear a lot of great music. I’m exposed to a lot of great musicians and performers and bands. That “thing” though, it’s a whole other level. So when you find it, hold on tight.
